

2026 "CQ EV Mini Kart Race"
The Kyushu Tournament will be held at SPA Naonyu (Taketa City, Oita Prefecture) on Friday, March 6th .
Race Overview
Eligible Vehicles
CQ EV Mini Kart + CQ Brushless Motor

Power Unit
-
Must be the motor unit from the CQ Brushless Motor & Inverter Kit series.

Power Supply (Battery)
-
Two (2) 12V Output Sealed Lead-Acid (SLA) batteries (Manufacturer not specified).
-
Note: The maximum weight per lead-acid battery is 3,000g.

Permitted Modifications
The following components may be modified or changed:

Motor Control Board
-
Number of Motors Used (*)
-
Magnet Wire Type and Winding Method (*)
-
Motor Core Material and Permanent Magnet Material (*)
-
Brakes (Must ensure sufficient braking power)
-
Accelerator/Throttle (Must allow for variable speed control)
-
Tires/Tubes (Must be commercially available products. Changing tire size and rims is prohibited)
-
Sprocket (Changing the number of teeth only)
-
Chain
-
Speedometer
(*) Important: You must accurately report the motor specifications to the Race Administration Office.
Prohibited Items

Modification of the vehicle chassis/body.
-
Installation of aerodynamic parts (cowls/fairings).

Installation of wheel covers.
Race Format
Competitors race to complete the most laps within 30 minutes using lead-acid batteries of substantially equal performance.
