The "CQ EV Mini Kart Race" is a race aimed at providing students and new engineers with an opportunity to hone their motor control skills in response to the recent growing interest in EVs.

The first event was held at Sodegaura Forest Raceway in 2014, and the venue moved to Tsukuba Circuit in 2016, marking its 12th anniversary in 2025.

The purpose of this competition is to compete in motor control technology using motor drive circuits and microcontrollers, and in order to lower the barrier to entry, we will provide a development kit equipped with: a brushless motor; a motor drive board; and a motor control microcontroller.

The cart body and battery are the same, but it is okay to use a different motor drive board.
